SWAINSBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Dock Carswell Jr., 49, died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at Emanuel Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Forts Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Charlie Reese and Johnny Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be in Kirkland Cemetery.
Mr. Carswell, a native of Emanuel County, was a member of Forts Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Tyrone Carswell, Phillip Carswell and Christopher Carswell, all of Swainsboro, and Tommy Scott, Statesboro; four daughters, Melissa Carswell, Jennifer Carswell and Margaret Carswell, all of Swainsboro, and Princess Carswell, Sylvania; three brothers, Willie Carswell, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Jimmy Carswell and Eddie Carswell, both of Twin City; four sisters, Eula Mae Hughes, Brooklyn, N.Y., Annie Rucker, Metter, and Carrie Carswell and Jenny Carswell, Garfield; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Lee, Michael Oglesby, Ray Rucker, John Hughes, Gregory Carswell and Willie Carswell.
Mosley's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
