Mrs. Mary Perdue

SPARTA, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary Perdue, 78, of 207 Jones Chapel Road, died Thursday, May 6, 1999, at Hancock Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Patterson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Culverton Cemetery.

Mrs. Perdue, a native of Hancock County, was a homemaker and member of Culverton Baptist Church. She had retired from J.F. Stevens after 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, John Milledge Perdue; two sons, Joey Perdue, Sparta, and John Perdue, Augusta; two brothers, Julian Brown, Jackson, and Bernard Brown, Milledgeville; four sisters, Susie Mingles and Lizzie Mae Johns, both of Sparta, Martha Sheppard, Warrenton, and Gladys Stern, Jacksonville, Ala.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Friends may call at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
