Designated hitter Todd Greene hit four balls in the air against Jamie Moyer on Friday night. Two of them were flyouts and one was a foul pop. The fourth was his first career grand slam.
"It was good timing," said Greene, whose third homer of the season gave the Anaheim Angels some breathing room Friday night in a 9-5 victory over the Seattle Mariners at Anaheim, Calif.
"I felt I had some good swings at his changeups all night, but that's what a changeup is supposed to do -- get you to pop up." said Greene, the former Evans High School and Georgia Southern baseball star. "I guess he accomplished what he wanted the first three times."
