AIKEN -- Mr. Harry M. Johnston, 81, of 1002 Hammond Road, died Thursday, April 15, 1999, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church with the Revs. John Patrick Coffey, Thomas A. Evatt and Edward Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Johnston, a native of Tuskegee, Ala., had retired as senior supervisor from Savannah River Site. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and Optimist Club. He was a Dixie Youth Baseball coach.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Leche Johnston; two sons, Robert L. Johnston, Atlanta, and Kevin R. Johnston, Columbia; a daughter, Gail E. Jones, Augusta; and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
