BLACKVILLE, S.C. -- The Rev. Harold Peeples, 58, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at Barnwell County Hospital.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Blackville-Hilda High School Auditorium. Burial will be in Hope Memorial Park.
Rev. Peeples, a native of Barnwell County, was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was the pastor of Savannah Creek Church, Erhardt, and Lemon Swamp Church, Bamberg.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Peeples; seven sons, Jose Peeples, Anthony Peeples, and Ernest Berry, all of Blackville, Lewis Peeples, Atlanta, Leon Peeples, Columbia, Ricky Peeples, Williston, and Otis Parker, Denmark; two daughters, Angel Peeples and Brenda Sept, both of Blackville; four brothers, Ernest Peeples, Atlanta, Charles Peeples and Anthony Peeples, both of Barnwell, and Kenneth Williams, Williston; five sisters, Maxine Flemmings, Atlanta, Eartha Dean Reed, Blackville, Geneva Gaines, and Evelyn P. Ford and Teresa Walker, all of Barnwell; and eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the home of Mrs. Laura Peeples and at Green's Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
