Mrs. Elsie Durst Kelly, 83, of Georgetown Court, died Monday, March 8, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospice.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Bruner officiating.
Mrs. Kelly, a native of Augusta, was a homemaker and had retired as a office professional in the insurance and banking industries. She had also retired from the Richmond County Board of Education. She was a 1931 graduate of Tubman High School for Girls and attended Junior College of Augusta. She was a charter member of St. Mark United Methodist Church and was a member of the Association of Retired Teachers and Office Personnel. She was a former member of Augusta Junior Woman's Club and had retired as a volunteer at Humana Hospital.
Survivors include a son, Donald M. Kelly III, Martinez; two daughters, Nancy Kelly Hickman, Martinez, and Candace Kelly Hart, Roswell, Ga.; a brother, Frank M. Durst Jr., Augusta; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
