Mr. Dixon Brooks

Mr. Dixon Brooks, 62, of 1230 Greene St., died Friday, March 5, 1999, at his residence.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westview Cemetery, Thomson, with the Rev. Reginald Blakewood officiating.

Mr. Brooks, a native of Glascock County, had retired from National Homes.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Brooks, Hawaii; a daughter, Martie Graham, Augusta; a brother, Tommy Brooks, North Augusta; five sisters, Jewell Poss, Dearing, Mary Martin and Willie Newsome, Wrens, Aselee Dixon, Alachua, Fla., and Bessie Brooks, Wrightsville; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
