Mrs. Mary Fawn Donathan, 70, of 1600 Anthony Road, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gordon Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville.
Mrs. Donathan, a native of Texon, Texas, had retired from Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she was secretary. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she was a former teacher of the Corrine Brantley Sunday School Class.
The family said,"She will be remembered by her family and all that knew her as a great Christian lady with a smile that could light up a room."
Survivors include her husband, Roger G. Donathan; a son, Ed Donathan, Gracewood, Ga.; two daughters, Kathy Logue, Evans, and Gloria Donathan Garner, Augusta; two brothers, Billie E. Russell, Norman, Ohio, and Bob Russell, Albany, N.Y.; three sisters, Donna Wade, Long Beach, Calif., Judy Draper, Oklahoma City, Okla., Sandi Conway, Albany, Texas.
Pallbearers will be George Reynolds, Jimmy Smith, Harold Smith, Jim Sullivent, Paul Kemmelin, Robert Duggar, Frank Miles and Jack Pritchard.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Paul Kemmelin Sunday School Class at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
