GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Coco Miller scored 27 points and Camille Murphy added 15 as No. 14 Georgia broke a two-game losing streak by hammering Florida 91-66 Thursday night.
The Lady Bulldogs (20-5, 8-5 Southeastern) held Florida to just 21 percent shooting in the second half. Florida went 7-for-33 after halftime and finished with a season-low 19 field goals in the loss.
Tonya Washington scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Lady Gators (19-11, 6-7), who are 1-6 at home against SEC opponents. Florida likely must beat Mississippi State in its season finale to make a seventh straight NCAA tournament appearance.
Georgia jumped out to a 17-9 start before Florida cut the lead to 25-24 midway through the first half. But the Lady Bulldogs went on a 25-8 spurt to lead by as many as 18 before intermission.
Florida's Brandi McCain hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to trim Georgia's halftime lead to 50-35. Miller had 17 first-half points and Kelly Miller added 13 before the break.
And the Bulldogs cruised through the second half. With 12 minutes to play, Georgia went on an 12-1 run, giving the Bulldogs their biggest lead of the game at 82-47.
