WILLISTON, S.C. -- Mr. C. Dickie Scott, 67, of Tanglewood Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Robert Koon, Floyd Dukes and Bob Wilson officiating. Burial with Woodmen of the World rites will be in Williston Cemetery.
Mr. Scott, a native of Barnwell County, was a graduate of Augusta College and had retired from DuPont at the Savannah River Plant in the waste management department. He had retired from the Army with the rank of corporal and was a veteran of the Korean War and a commander of American Legion Post 75.
He was a farmer and a member of Woodmen of the World Unit 231. He was a member and deacon of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, where he served on the Bus Ministry and was a former chairman of the deacon board.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jeanne Roach Scott; three daughters, Carole Anne S. Lott and Pamela Gayle "Pam" Trimble, both of Williston, and Betty Elizabeth "Beth" S. Thomas, Sevierville, Tenn.; a brother, Walter I. Scott Jr., New Iberia, La.; a sister, Cora S. Barnwell, Williamston; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be members of American Legion Post 75.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Folk Funeral Home.
