Mrs. Lynette W. McKenzie, 87, of Central Avenue, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at National Health Care Center, North Augusta.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sweetwater Baptist Church, North Augusta, with the Rev. Eleazer Benenhaley officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. McKenzie, a native of Lillington, N.C., was a homemaker. She taught piano and was the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center organist for several years. She was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, where she was a former choir member.
Survivors include two sons, Robert P. McKenzie Jr., Isle of Palms, S.C., and Donald M. McKenzie, North Augusta; two daughters, Betty Lynn Snider, Arkadelphia, Ark., and Christine Perkey, Brentwood, Tenn.; two sisters, Rochelle Fulton, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Daphne Crews, Lillington; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today and Wednesday at Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta.
