AIKEN -- Mrs. Marilynn Ruth Johnson Parchen, 60, of 1170 Sizemore Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, New Ellenton, with the Rev. Michael Bruce officiating. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Parchen, a native of Casey, Ill., had retired as a federal civil servant and secretary. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Joy Circle and was the organist. She was a member of the Augusta Organ Guild.
Survivors include her husband, William Robert Parchen; a son, William Knox Parchen, Hudson, Ohio; two daughters, Analeise Ruth Parchen and Naomi Jolynn Parchen, both of Chicago; three sisters, Joan Christian, Hamilton, Ohio, Rebecca Jarvi, Beaver Creek, Ohio, and Naomi Kay Clifford, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church Family Life Center Leap of Faith Fund, 600 Main St., New Ellenton, SC 29809.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall after the service.
