WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Quincy L. Williams, 63, of 256 Salem Circle, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Magnolia Hill, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at William Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. T.L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Williams, a native of Burke County, was an assembly line worker for a factory. He was a graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School, Augusta, and Savannah State College, Savannah. He was a member of William Grove Baptist Church. He lived in Connecticut for 29 years before returning to Burke County.
The family said, "Quincy was a very easy-going person who was deeply loved by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten."
Survivors include five brothers, Charlie Thomas Williams, Cato Hampton Williams Jr., Eddie J. Williams and Arthur N. Williams, all of Waynesboro, and Clarence W. Williams, New Britain, Conn.; and a sister, Julia M. Coleman, Waynesboro.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
