BELVEDERE -- Mr. Marvin W. Richey, 92, of 201 Belair Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta, with the Revs. C.B. Love and J. Lloyd Prince officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens, North Augusta.
Mr. Richey, a native of Abbeville County, had retired from Clearwater Finishing Plant as a hand folder after 35 years of service. He was the former fire commissioner for the Belvedere Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Belvedere, where he was a member of the Will Watley Sunday School Class, and a former secretary and treasurer of the Faith Sunday School Class and the Watley Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Fay Nell Durham, Belvedere; two stepdaughters, Arlene Pearre, North Augusta, and Jane Cartledge, Phoenix; a brother, J.C. Richey, Florence; a sister, Helen Davenport, Ware Shoals; and 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Scott Pearre, Ken Boisclair, Dayton Sherrouse, Bill Richey, Glenn Richey and Mike Durham.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
