WILLISTON, S.C. -- Mr. Wilburt "Till" Tuten Riddle, 48, died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. James Baptist Church, Luray, with the Rev. Aiken Ruth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Riddle, a native of Allendale County, was a textile worker and a member of St. James Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School and a former member of the Roaring Twenties.
Survivors include three sons, Cory Hamlet, Savannah, and Greg Williams and Deangelo Fields, both of Allendale; four daughters, Veronica Singletary, Hampton, Felicia Williams, Aiken, and Erica Williams and Socha Fields, both of Allendale; his father, Alfair Riddle, Barton; five brothers, Horace Riddle, Barnwell, Bernard Riddle, Varnville, Walter Riddle, Lakeland, Fla., and Bobby Elmore and Herman Brown, both of Barton; a sister, Susan Hall, Barton; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Riley's Funeral Home, Fairfax.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
