Mr. Clifford Ray "Rabbit" Phillips Sr., 69, of 1985 Fenwick St., died Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Bible Deliverance Temple with the Revs. H.K. McKnight, Guy Campbell and Jesse Goldman officiating. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Mr. Phillips, a native of Lyons, Ga., had retired as an electrician from Savannah River Site and was a Marine veteran. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1579 and Bible Deliverance Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Phillips; a son, Clifford Ray Phillips Jr., North Augusta; a daughter, Linda Phillips Ellison, Opp, Ala.; a brother, Roy Phillips, Lugoff, S.C.; a sister, Margie Phillips Palmer, Bath; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Tuten, Johnny McKnight, W.L. Shipes Jr., Eddie Turner, George Webb, Jimmy Murray, Tommy Ginn, Paul Amerson and Billy Eubanks.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1579.

Friends may call at Platt's Funeral Home, Crawford Avenue.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the church.
