Mrs. Nellie Cornogg



AIKEN -- Mrs. Nellie Ellis Cornogg, 98, of 237 Barnard Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at her residence.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Churchyard with the Revs. Howard M. and Mellie Hickey officiating.

Mrs. Cornogg, a native of Bryn Mawr, Pa., formerly worked at N.W. Ayer and the Ladies Home Journal in Philadelphia. She was a member of St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church.

The family said, "She was a good wife and mother. She loved flowers of all kinds and animals."

Survivors include her husband, Samuel S. Cornogg; a son, Robert Kilburn, Concordville, Pa.; a daughter, Deborah C. Erb, Aiken; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Deborah Erb, 325 Homestead Lane, Aiken, after the service.
