WINDSOR, S.C. -- Mrs. Helen Pinkus Weld, 97, of 151 Cadle Crossing, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at Beverly Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rivers Funeral Home, Aiken, with the Rev. M. Eugene Mullikin officiating. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Weld, a native of New York, had lived in Aiken for two years, and she was a former resident of Hialeah, Fla. She had retired from Capitol Hill as a secretary to members of Congress.
Survivors include a brother, Irving Pinkus, Laguna Hills, Calif.; a sister, Alice Sullivan, Jacksonville, Fla.; and one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
