GREENSBORO, Ga. -- Mr. William Paul Richardson, 88, of 2911 Georgia Highway 15, died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Minnie G. Boswell Hospital.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Chewning and Nat Long officiating. Burial will be in Greensboro City Cemetery.
Mr. Richardson, a native of Fulton County, was a field supervisor for BellSouth and a member of First United Methodist Church of Greensboro. He was a member of the Pioneers, San Marino Lodge 34 and the Holiday Ramblers.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Channell Richardson; three sons, Merritt Richardson, Winder, Mickey Channell, Greensboro, and Paul Channell, Santa Fe, N.M.; two daughters, Beverly Hazen, Aiken, and Willynda Robinson, Conyers; and 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Robinson, Bob Hazen, Richard Hazen, Robert Robinson, Perry Richardson and Tobin Richardson.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Greensboro Building Fund or to the Boswell Hospital Foundation.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the residence or at McCommon's Funeral Home.
