Mrs. Virginia Cofer



LOUISVILLE, Ga. -- Mrs. Virginia McDonald Cofer, 86, of 841 Mimosa Drive, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Louisville Associate Reform Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Bob Elliot and Terry Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Louisville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Cofer, a native of Glascock County, was a homemaker and a member of Agnes Plaxco Missionary Circle and Louisville Associate Reform Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Michael L. Cofer, Louisville; a daughter, Edith C. Hall, Sanford, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Thompson, Greenwood, S.C.; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Roth McDonald, Barry McDonald, Don McCorkle, Jack McCorkle, Wayne McDonald and C.H. Cofer Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the church.

Friends may call at the residence of Michael Cofer, 218 Elm St.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Johnson-Grier Funeral Home.
