WAYNESBORO, Ga. -- Mr. Lamar Mobley, 58, of 1215 Hadden Pond Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998, at the Medical College of Georgia.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. G. Michael Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Burke Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Mobley, a native of Burke County, was owner of Quality Dry Cleaners and co-owner of Mobley's Restaurant and Cafeteria. He was vice president of Georgia Field Trail Association and a member of National Bird Dog Foundation. He was a member of State Association of Field Trial Clubs, Quail Unlimited and the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association. He was a member of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nell J. Mobley; two sons, Chuck White and Mike White, both of Waynesboro; four daughters, Lindy Perkins and Tammy McClain, both of Waynesboro, Kay Edenfield, Harlem, and Dawn Mallard, Statesboro; two brothers, Melvin Mobley and Joe Mobley, both of Waynesboro; a sister, Juanita Mobley, Waynesboro; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Georgia Field Trial Association.
