DUBLIN, Ga. -- Mrs. Dorothy Dicks Oliver, 91, died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Jim Knight officiating. Burial will be in Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro.
Mrs. Oliver, a native of Richmond County, had lived in Dublin since 1987, and she had been a longtime Waynesboro resident. She had retired from the Burke County Hospital as a registered nurse and had served as director of nurses. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Waynesboro.
Her family said she touched the lives of many in the community through her loving care as a nurse.
Survivors include a son, Robert W. Oliver Jr., Dublin; three daughters, Dot Sharpe, Dalton, Mary Louise Moore, Greenville, S.C., and Elenora Allen, Richmond, Va.; a sister, Helen Cook, Augusta; and 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and Albert Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be officers of First Presbyterian Church of Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. today at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
