Mrs. Eloise Bohannon



Mrs. Eloise Hatcher Pool Bohannon, of 291 Ashbrook Drive, Martinez, died Monday, Oct. 19, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at noon Sunday at Church of God's Way, Martinez, with the Rev. Grace Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bohannon, a native of Birmingham, Ala., was the founding bishop and pastor of Church of God's Way. She was overseer of the Church of God's Way headquarters and received her master's degree from Lahairoi Bible College.

Survivors include her husband, Alfred Z. Bohannon; a daughter, Natoma Eloise Wiltz, Martinez; a stepson, Alfred Z. Bohannon Jr., Columbus; five stepdaughters, Alphanette Bohannon, Atlanta, Alfreda Bohannon, Jacksonville, N.C., Grace Bohannon, Austin, Texas, Lisa Bohannon, Arlington, Texas, and Carvetta Bohannon, Kansas City, Kan.; five brothers, Joseph Hatcher, New Jersey, Nathaniel Hatcher, Martinez, Leander Hatcher, Brooklyn, N.Y., and Donald Hatcher and Marvin Hatcher, both of Birmingham; four sisters, Carolyn Hatcher, Brooklyn, and Gloria Lewis, Romonia Carlton and Lois Hatcher, all of Birmingham; and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be the Hatcher family.

Honorary pallbearers will be minsters and missionaries of Church of God's Way.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Williams Funeral Home.
