Mr. Gary Hazlett

NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mr. Gary Alfred Hazlett, 54, of 100 Country Place Drive, died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville, with Elder George Weeks officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta.

Mr. Hazlett, a native of Winfield, W.Va., had retired as finance manager/president from Public Finance Corp. A resident of Aiken County for more than 30 years, he was a member of Carolina Bass Club, Mason Star Lodge No. 99, Graniteville, Jamial Temple A.A. on M.S. of Columbia, Sir Knight Kadoshlayah Chapter No. 41 RAM, R&SM, Aiken Comander No. 14 KT and First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Romig Hazlett; his mother, Doris Knapp Hazlett, Winfield; two sons, Gary A. Hazlett Jr., Scott Depot, W.Va., and David R.L. Hazlett, North Augusta; a daughter, Nancy Hazlett Bradley, Pelion; a stepdaughter, Amy E. Bush, North Augusta; two sisters, Rebecca H. Murray, Winfield, and Karen H. Beane, St. Albans, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
