JOHNSTON, S.C. -- Mrs. Janie Jackson, of Route 2, Box 191, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mine Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Grady Cook, Harvey Andrews and Henry Leyseth officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Saluda County, was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include eight sons, Albert H. Jackson and Charlie Jackson, both of Johnston, John Henry Jackson, Belvedere, William Jackson, Maryland, Nathaniel Jackson, Johnston, Alexander Jackson, Roselle, N.J., Calvin Jackson, Edgefield, and Clifford Jackson, Aiken; three daughters, Ruth J. Andrews, Johnston, Isabelle Frazier, Roselle, and Patricia Jackson, New York; seven brothers, Graham Williams and Jordon Williams, both of Saluda, Willie Mack Williams, Washington, Albert Williams, Temple Hill, Md., James R. Williams and Robert Williams, both of Detroit, and Charlie Williams, Laurens; two sisters, Essie Williams, Saluda, and Addie Ingram, Detroit; and 38 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amos & Sons Funeral Home, Johnston.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Calvin Jackson, 154 Fairway Drive, Edgefield.
