Mr. Cleon W. Mauldin, 84, of 820 Johns Road, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1998, at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Springwood Cemetery, Greenville, S.C., with the Rev. Hal Poe officiating.
Mr. Mauldin, a native of Greenville, had retired from the department of training aids at Fort Gordon and also had retired as librarian and stage manager of the Augusta Symphony Orchestra. He was a graduate of Furman University and the University of Virginia. He established the Augusta Symphony's endowment fund with a gift in honor of his mother, Nell Poe Mauldin. He was a founding member of the Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society.
