Mr. Henry Tanksley III



HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. Henry Tanksley III, of 2392 Cougar Drive, died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1998, at Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dent's Undertaking Establishment, Augusta, with the Rev. Sam Tanksley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Augusta.

Mr. Tanksley, a native of Chatham County, was a paint and body repair specialist for Mario's Paint & Body Shop. He was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church.

His family said he was a good-hearted person, always willing to give a helping hand to anyone he met. He was a loving son and brother.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Corine Thomas and Lucious Thomas Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Lucious C. Thomas, Hephzibah; and a sister, Tammie Tanksley, Hephzibah.

Pallbearers will be David Johnson, Timothy Grant, Millard Belcher, William Henderson, Charles Goff, Marcus Griffin and James Thomas.
