For the people who criticize and condemn independent prosecutors and Kenneth Starr, I would like to set the records straight.
Several years ago it was decreed by our legislature to have an independent prosecutor appointed to investigate wrongdoings by government officials. Previously, the House did the investigation, which was time consuming and left little time for working on government and their districts' problems.
The tenure of Mr. Starr expired during the Clinton's administration. President Bill Clinton boldly announced to have Mr. Starr's tenure renewed, as his administration had nothing to hide.
So to anybody who doesn't know the facts on how and why, they should be aware that their, and my, government appointed Mr. Starr to do the job he has done...
