HARLEM -- Mrs. Margie Lois Harper Daves, of 911 Old Louisville Road, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 1998, in Eastman.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Powell Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Grovetown.
Mrs. Daves, a native of Point Pete, was a seamstress and a bus driver for the Columbia County School System. She was a member of Powell Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Dorcas Sunday School Class.
Survivors include one son, Wayne Warren Daves Jr., Harlem; two daughters, Dianne Knox, Appling, and Brenda Gay, Easley, S.C.; one brother, James Harper, Gainesville; one sister, Edith Jones, Athens; and four grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and members of the adult Sunday school class of Powell Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Starling Funeral Home.
