Washington County loses to Peach Co. powerhouse



SANDERSVILLE, Ga. -- Alvin Sanders hit Tremaine Hagans on a 55-yard scoring bomb late in the game and Washington County avoided being shut out in its second straight loss of the season, this time to Peach County.

Peach County's defense held the Golden Hawks to 150 total yards while chalking up 266.

A.J. Johnson hit Marquis Turner on a 43-yard scoring play and flipped another 4 yards to Octavious Latimore. Clay Bryan kicked a 29-yard field goal and O.J. Barton broke one for 69 yards and another tally.

Barton had 13 carries for 101 yards and Johnson hit 5 of 12 passes for 62 yards and one interception.
