VARNVILLE, S.C. -- Mrs. Liller Mae Murdaugh Loadholt, 78, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 1998, at Columbia/Colleton Regional Medical Center, Walterboro.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Miley Church of God, Miley, with the Revs. Robert V. Leeper and Jordan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Loadholt, a native of Hampton County, was a cosmetologist. She was a member of Miley Church of God, where she served as church secretary, custodian, Sunday school teacher and superintendent for 24 years, and was a member of the Missionary Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Loadholt Sr.; three sons, Ben Loadholt Jr. and Frank Loadholt, both of Orangeburg, and Gary Loadholt, Charleston; four daughters, Lillie Sinclair, Vernell Bolden and Pansy Eason, all of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Margaret "Jan" Hollingsworth, Varnville; five brothers, Leonard Murdaugh and Willie Murdaugh, both of Brunson, Edward Murdaugh and Theodore Murdaugh, both of Hampton, and David Murdaugh, Estill; three sisters, Dorothy Jenkins, Washington, Lila Key, Trenton, N.J., and Eloise H. White, Brunson; and 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Riley's Funeral Home, Hampton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
