On the move: Mixon, Wiley join station



WAGT-TV (Channel 26) has announced that Mary Mixon has joined the station as national sales manager, and Jason Wiley has joined as an account executive.

WAGT-TV (Channel 26) meteorologist Tom Knight was certified with a seal of approval by the National Weather Association. The NWA certifies broadcast meteorologists who maintain a high standard of knowledge and accuracy.

W. Frank Mills has joined the Environmental Sciences Group of Exploration Resources as business development manager.

JoAnn H. Skinner of NationsBank has been promoted to banking officer at the Evans branch.

Robert A. Johnson has recently been promoted to project manager for MAU at the Robert Bosch Plant in Charleston, S.C.

Aiken Technical College has announced that Stan Schrader has been named director of Co-op Services.

Joe Herzberg, director of Personnel at University Hospital, was installed as president of the Georgia Society of Healthcare Human Resources Administration, during the group's annual educational conference.

Nancy Hall has been promoted to telesales manager with The Augusta Chronicle Advertising Department.

Jim Harrison Gallery in Denmark, S.C., has announced Lynn Gore as gallery manager. Ms. Gore is in charge of the retail gallery and special events.

Donna Rybacki has been promoted to manager and Phil Mullins has been named bakery director at Very Vera, the mail division of Vera & Co.

WJBF-TV (Channel 6 has announced that Brad Means will join the station as news anchorman and assistant news director. Mr. Means comes to Augusta from WRBL-TV in Columbus, Ga.
