In the Aug. 25 paper, the new Chronicle Xtreme teen board was presented. In the accompanying article, these teens were described as a group of representatives "from all over"; and by talking to these teens, "we're talking to all the teens that they've talked to."
The description "from all over" seems rather inaccurate, in that out of 15 members, eight of them (more than half) are from two schools in Columbia County. Only three of the nine Richmond County high schools are represented, and two of them are the magnet schools. Since the magnet schools do draw students from all of Richmond County, is this how they got students "from all over"?
The students of this area are definitely not fairly represented.
