Tells AT&T customers to check bills 082998 - The Augusta Chronicle

I read with interest the letter about telephone taxation.

Now comes a $3 minimum for those of us who do not use AT&T long distance.

I called BellSouth and canceled AT&T service. You can do it. AT&T seems to have other charges on its section of our bill that cannot be figured out.

Check your bill.
