DEARING -- Mr. Simpson Poythress, 90, of 5521 Huffs Bridge Road, died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998, at Warrenton Health Care Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Fort Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Boyd Revees officiating.
Mr. Poythress, a native of Virginia, worked for Holmes Oil Company.
Survivors include one son, Edward Earl Poythress, Somora, N.C.; one daughter, Rochell Ezzell, Wilson, N.C.; one sister, Eula Kelley, Dearing; and seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
