MILLEN, Ga. -- Mrs. Mary Bell Chance, 61, of 3311 Floyd Road, died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1998, at University Hospital, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Oak Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Hendrix, Wayne Dixon and S.W. Middleton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Chance, a native of Burke County, was the manager of Jenkins County Landfill. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Chance Sr.; two sons, Floyd Chance Jr. and David Chance, both of Millen; two daughters, Janice Flakes and Brittany Chance, both of Millen; her mother, Lessie Bell, Millen; a brother, Bill Bell, Port Wentworth; a sister, Alice Thomas, Waynesboro; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rew Hermann, Ronald Pye, Lester Brinson Jr., Al Knight, Eddie Bolton and Talmadge Fries.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Friends may call until noon Monday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
