PLUM BRANCH, S.C. -- Mrs. Rebekah Lankford Langley, 89, of Collier Road, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1998, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with the Revs. Don Alexander and John Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Plum Branch Cemetery.
Mrs. Langley, a native of Henning, Tenn., was a musician and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church where she was pianist for 50 years. She was a member of United Methodist Women and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include one son, George E. Langley Jr., Plum Branch; two daughters, Betty Ann Butler, Woodbridge, Va., and Winnie Sue Kennedy, Winston-Salem; one sister, Annie Lou Schimdt, Orange, Va.; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ed Kennedy, Tim Kennedy, Jim Butler, Bill Butler, Ches Kennedy, Neal Willis and Larry Lynett.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.
