Mr. Mack Kirby

BATH -- Mr. Mack Henry Kirby, 68, of 13 Hucklebee St., died Friday, Aug. 14, 1998, at St. Joseph Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Timmonsville, with the Rev. Cecil Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Church Cemetery, Sardis.

Mr. Kirby, a native of Florence County, was a carpenter. He was a member of the National Guard and the Carpenter's Union. He was a member of the Valley Hunting Club. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie L. Morgan Kirby; two sons, Edward R. Kirby, Bath, and Melvin C. Kirby, Fountain Inn; two daughters, S. Diane Ringo, Bath, and Linda E. Brewer, Charleston; his mother, Maude Knotts Kirby, Bath; one sister, Mary V. Harrington, Jacksonville, Fla; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville, and from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.
