SALLEY -- Mr. Raymond Chandler, 57, of 153 Chanstalas Road, died Thursday, July 17, 1998, at Aiken Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocean Grove Baptist Church, Aiken, with the Revs. George Smith and Anthony Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Chandler, a native of Wagener, was a PTO supervisor at Owens-Corning Fiberglass. He was a member of Ocean Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Abney Chandler; a son, Raymond Chandler Jr., Salley; six daughters, Sadie Danley, Mary Kinard and Elaine Sweat, all of Salley, Shirley Staley, Springfield, Gloria Landy, Columbia, and Victoria Chandler, Wagener; nine brothers, Randolph Chandler and Roosevelt Chandler, both of Wagener, Branch Chandler and Roscoe Chandler, both of Aiken, James Chandler, Washington, D.C., Douglas Chandler, Emporia, Va., Robert Chandler, Maryland, Rudolph Chandler, Columbia, and Everett Chandler, Salley; five sisters, Ida Landy, Sadie Counts and Amanda Mason, all of Aiken, and Olia Chandler and Diane Chandler, both of Salley; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be brothers.
Friends may call at the residence.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at J.H. Robinson's Funeral Home, Wagener.
