Mrs. Frances Ansley



THOMSON -- Mrs. Frances McCorkle Ansley, 83, of 379 Howard Road, died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at her residence.

The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Thomson First Baptist Church with the Rev. James C. Elder Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Ansley, a native of McDuffie County, had owned and operated Ansley Recreation Center for 26 years. She was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church where she was a member of Fidelis Sunday School Class.

Survivors include a daughter, Joan Malcolm, Thomson; a sister, Belle Neal, Dearing; and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Neal, Sandy McCorkle, Steve Norton, Randy Prescott, Billy Oxner and Wells McCorkle Jr.

Friends may call at the residence of Joan Malcolm, 366 Howard Road, or at Curtis Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
