Blasts commission over alcohol license 070998 - The Augusta Chronicle

Re your article concerning the alcohol license for the Pine Hill Grocery:

If this business is denied the ability to move its license 100 yards, then the bigoted Augusta Commission must also deny renewal of the license for the Goshen Grocery, Johnson's Corner Grocery and the two filling station/convenience stores at the intersection of Tobacco Road and Highway 56, along with the new Food Lion store and the new Smile gas station being built on Highway 56.

All of these businesses are within one and one half miles of the new high school being built on Old Waynesboro Road.
