The Chronicle should be proud of the job done by Dennis Sodomka reporting the Olympic Games.
To say he was good is not enough. He was superb.
He wrote in a style that was easy to read. A style that was descriptive of the people, the City of Nagano, its restaurants and their strange foods, and about the athletes. Also, through his writing, I learned a lot about the Olympics that I never knew.
So welcome home our hero. Your family, newspaper, folks from Augusta, and myself are proud of you.
