I have read the Constitution and nowhere do I see anything that brings up separation of church and state. I have seen harsh criticism of the Christian faith and articles that argue we are not a Christian nation and never were.
In 1982 the Trinity decision was handed down by the Supreme Court, after reading and studying hundreds of documents including the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, The Mayflower Compact, and New England Confederation. It concluded that we were a Christian nation.
Those documents haven't changed in the last 100 years. What has changed is the aversion to, and criticism of, the Christian faith.
