Re the Jan. 8 editorial "An unholy alliance:"
I am appalled that The Chronicle could lower itself to such opinionated reporting. I know Augusta Commissioner Lee Beard and I went to college with Commissioner Moses Todd. I find in both outstanding examples of their race and one thing they or this community doesn't need is a biased report such as this written about them.
They have done more for this city than "porky pig and company," and I don't recall them falling asleep in meetings or stomping off when they don't get what they want ...
So why don't you write more about that? By the way, I'm white -- if that matters.
