As I watched the CBS "Country Fest" recently, I was reminded just how vivacious, dynamic and downright entertaining country music was in the 1970s and '80s. LeeAnn Rimes was wonderful, Randy Travis was terrific and Hank Williams Jr. was superb. Travis Tritt also turned out an excellent performance. The contrast between these glittering performances and the left-wing perversion that pervades today's so-called country music is stark. Most of the women are whining, feminist, anti-family liberals and the guys, well, they're just a bunch of sissies.
It did get a little rowdy, however, and I do hope they covered little LeeAnn's ears because Hank Jr. told those left-wingers, who control country music today, to kiss his posterior. ...
Well, all I can say to that is "GO HANK!"
