HERE'S THE PROBLEM:
"I'm looking for a relationship, and I think I found a guy. But he's not the type of guy I would normally fall for. What should I do? Should I follow my emotions?"
XTREME Reporter Wendy Grossman says: My last boyfriend wasn't my "type." He was a long-haired hippie who treated me nice. He didn't have awesome pecs. He didn't have a six-pack. He wasn't all that witty. But he was good to me, and that's what mattered. He was probably the nicest guy I've ever hung out with.
People can like a million people for a million different reasons. The song that says "I could love a 100 different kinds of girls" keeps ringing through my head.
You like different people for different reasons. You like Darren because he always makes you laugh. You like Rob's smile and the light in Roger's eyes. You like Kevin because he spends hours just holding your hand.
Baskin Robbins has 31 flavors of ice cream, and it's OK for you to try them all before you find your favorite. That's why they have those little pink spoons.
So, if you like him and he likes you, go out with him. You don't have to spend the rest of your life with him. But if you have fun with him, go for it.
