On June 27, another letter was published taking U.S. Rep. Charlie Norwood, R-Ga., to the woodshed for stuffed polar bears. Money is also a part of the equation.
For whatever value it has, I point out that whenever several hundred congressmen and women voted this into law, money was not mentioned. Several senators also voted for this law. Again no money was mentioned. And, of course, our nation's biggest money raiser Ä President William Clinton Ä signed it into law.
Maybe Rep. Norwood is doing something wrong or even evil if he got President Clinton to go along with the polar bear law.
