Greenbrier's first valedictorian, salutatorian named



Jeremy Sean Nichols and Lauren Merrow McNeill are the first valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for Greenbrier High School.

Jeremy, the valedictorian, is the son of Cathy G. Nichols of Appling. His favorite courses are physics, Advanced Placement chemistry and math. Jeremy plans to study mechanical engineering at Augusta State University and Georgia Institute of Technology in hopes of becoming a research and development director at General Motors or opening his own manufacturing shop.

Lauren, the salutatorian, is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kevin McNeill of Evans. Her favorite courses are trigonometry, tennis and French. Lauren plans to study business and marketing at University of Mississippi in hopes of working in public relations or business advertising.

This is Greenbrier High's first year of operation.
