Denies wrongdoing in MCG scandal

This letter is to clarify the recent article you ran concerning my activities relating to Drs. Richard Borison and Bruce Diamond. The article quoted state attorney general investigator Richard Hyde's affidavit, which was distorted and biased in this highly political case.

The Belle S. Marks Foundation received and distributed donations from many sources. Neither I, nor the foundation, have been charged with any wrongdoing, underreported any income, nor did anything improper in receiving or disbursing donations. I have solicited numerous donations for the Medical College of Georgia Foundation as well as other charities over the years. Fees paid to my firm were for services performed over several years and included computer equipment purchases for the various Borison-Diamond operations.

All accounting records requested (of my accounting firm) were immediately made available to the investigators.
