Brown taken to Beech Island home

BEECH ISLAND - James Brown's body was taken to his Beech Island home Saturday evening after the daylong memorial service at James Brown Arena.

A black Mercedes hearse bearing his gold coffin entered through a side gate of his 62-acre estate followed by two limousines and two other cars at about 5:30 p.m. His final resting place is still undecided.
